Gallagher Bassett’s NSW operation has announced the exciting commencement of a US partnership, where a team of experienced NSW claims staff will perform claims management roles for GB’s American-based parent company, Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc.
A team of 20 permanent, highly-experienced staff will work on case management, audits and supervisor partnering in collaboration with GB’s US parent company for their American clients.
The team will be taking advantage of one of GB’s major strengths in the Australian market – reviewing targeted, high-cost claims and developing strategies that lead to a proactive closure.
Lisa Doran, currently the NSW Transition Manager, is heading up the team, reporting to GB’s NSW General Manager Kate Fegan.

‘I’m excited, not just for the fantastic opportunities this project provides GB staff, but because GB’s exposure to global claims management practices will increase our capabilities, benefiting our Australian clients.’
Claims management services will be performed out of GB’s Sydney office by staff transitioning out of the NSW statutory scheme.
