The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) have named Gallagher Bassett New Zealand as a 2017 finalist for the 2017 awards in two categories. We are proud to be named a finalist for both the Young Insurance Professionals Employer of the Year and Service Provider to the Insurance Industry categories.

Managing Director of New Zealand, Craig Furness is ecstatic with the news.

“To be nominated as a finalist in not one, but two, categories is a really unique accomplishment. As a business, we firmly believe our actions and attitudes determine our reputation so to be recognised by ANZIIF for our achievements from the past year is fantastic.”

The annual New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards dinner is being held on Thursday 16 November, where the industry’s achievements will be acknowledged and winners announced.

The event unites all sectors of insurance together to celebrate excellence, professionalism and community. Marking their sixth year, the Awards are an annual celebration acknowledging the accomplishments of individuals and businesses in New Zealand insurance and the positive impact that our industry has on the community.

Attended by more than 400 of the industry’s top executives, the New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards recognise the finalists and winners of 16 award categories, which include individuals and companies spanning the breadth of New Zealand insurance.

In announcing the awards, ANZIIF recognised the high number of quality submissions they received, stating the margin between non-finalists and finalists was close.

The news comes after GB Australia winning the ANZIIF award for Service Provider to the Insurance Industry categories at the ANZIIF annual awards dinner on Thursday 31st of August.
