Dr. Gary Anderberg, Senior Vice President of Claims Analytics for Gallagher Bassett, will be presenting at the National Workers’ Compensation Summit in Melbourne on the 24th February.
His presentation will address the topic “How Big Data is Transforming Claims Decision Making: The New Era of Predictive Analytics”.
Gary is from the USA, and is a widely published expert in the field of predictive analysis and its application for claims decision making.
His presentation will provide insight into how big data is transforming claims decision making, including:
- Combining machine learning, predictive modelling and text analytics to support better claims decisions,
- Bringing together horizontal and vertical claims knowledge to ensure the best decisions are made, and
- How state-of-the-art analytics will ensure better outcomes for injured workers and employers.
Gary is a frequent presenter at conferences sponsored by Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA), Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI), Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and the National Disability and Workers’ Compensation Conference & Expo.
Some of Gary’s recent accomplishments include recognition as a Risk & Insurance magazine Innovator of the Year in 2010 and again in 2012, and winning the DMEC Partnership award in 2012 in “recognition of exemplary support and dedication” to advancing DMEC goals.
