Gallagher Bassett Welcomes Kelly Spratt as National Supply Chain Manager

Gallagher Bassett (GB) New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Spratt as the company's National Supply Chain Manager. In this role, Kelly will play a crucial part in overseeing the strategic management of the company's supply chain operations.

With a diverse background spanning multiple industries, Kelly brings a wealth of experience to GB. Prior to joining GB, Kelly worked in various business areas, including owning a small business, finance, procurement, supply chain, and project management.

When we asked Kelly about her decision to accept the role, Kelly shared,

"The opportunity to work for a global industry leader with values that align to my own and places people at the centre of their business was exactly what I was looking for in a new role. With the New Zealand supply chain network facing a set of complex challenges, I hit the ground running in April and have been fortunate to work with a talented team as we apply our strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.”

As National Supply Chain Manager, Kelly will be responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborative, long-term partnerships within the supply chain network. Her primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products and services, while fostering an environment of transparency, honesty, and trust.

Commenting on the appointment, Craig Furness, CEO of GB New Zealand, said,

"Kelly’s diverse experience and skillset make her the perfect fit for this role, and her empathetic leadership and strategic mindset will be instrumental in driving positive impacts for our customers, vendors, and most importantly, our people.”

Kelly has developed her leadership skills through her position as Chair of the Canterbury Women’s Infrastructure Network and her studies at Auckland University’s Strategic CIO Program. Commenting on how these experiences have shaped her, Kelly said,

“I firmly believe in leading by putting myself in others’ shoes; it’s the only way I can help cultivate a safe environment where everyone can thrive. Throughout my career, I’ve learned from many different types of leaders – which is why I prioritise empathy, kindness and professionalism.”

We look forward to the positive impact Kelly will bring to the organisation. Her appointment reflects the our ongoing commitment to driving operational excellence, fostering collaborative partnerships, and delivering what matters most.
