Every year, Gallagher Bassett (GB) hosts the GB Awards - a celebration of our people and a chance to stop and reflect on the amazing work they do each and every day.
Craig Furness, GB New Zealand Chief Executive Officer, said:

This year, Marc Casey was recognised with both the Leader of the Year and Aoraki awards! Jemma-Lea Matson, Operations Manager, nominated Marc:
“Marc leads by example and doesn't ask anything of his team that he is not prepared to do himself. He has open and honest conversations with his team and brings humour into the room.
Marc has increased his team size and supported business growth as a result of the relationships he has built with existing clients as well as new clients”.
Marc was also the recipient of the Aoraki award – a prestigious honour that recognises an individual who displays overall excellence in their field, while living The Gallagher Way values.
When asked about what he enjoys most about his role, Marc remarked:
“I really enjoy the variety of my role – every day brings unique challenges and opportunities. I’m fortunate to be part of an organisation that treats us like family.
I love working with people – those in my team as well as our customers. I feel fortunate to work with such a talented team, providing support and guidance and I enjoy being part of their growth and development.
It’s incredibly rewarding to work with our customers, I enjoy being able to achieve results for them and mitigate any stress they have been under.”
