Celebrating Excellence At The 2022 GB NZ Awards – meet Kherynn Winitana

Every year, Gallagher Bassett (GB) hosts the GB Awards - a celebration of our people and a chance to stop and reflect on the amazing work they do each and every day.

Craig Furness, GB New Zealand Chief Executive Officer, said:

“I’m so proud of the way our people genuinely care and provide support for our clients, customers and each other. Our annual GB Awards program is an opportunity to stop and reflect on the achievements of our team members and the impact they make on our community.

I’d like to congratulate all our nominees, finalists and winners – each of you went above and beyond in demonstrating The Gallagher Way. The judges and executive team had a tough job selecting the winners from such a high quality pool of nominations.

Tena koe, ka pai te mahi.”

There are five categories in the GB NZ Awards:

  • Team of the Year
  • Leader of the Year
  • The Gallagher Way Award
  • Going Beyond Award
  • Aoraki Award

This year, Kherynn Winitana was recognised with The Gallagher Way award! Jessi Dasler, Operations Manager, nominated Kherynn:

“Kherynn embraces The Gallagher Way in everything she does. She is always respectful and kind with everyone in the team.

Kherynn has recently moved into a Team Leader role and shares her knowledge and expertise with her team - as well as her energy!”

When asked about what she enjoys most about her role, Kherynn remarked:

“I am passionate about the work we do at a time the client and customers need us most – none of which can be done without the greater team across Aotearoa.

For me, the most important aspect of my role is the relationship I have built with our team and seeing their individual development”.

GB is a value-driven organisation where pride, trust, leadership and accountability are encouraged and celebrated. Employing more than 1,000 professionals in offices around New Zealand and Australia, GB is the premier provider of global claims services, dedicated to exceptional customer service and demonstrably superior outcomes.
